Food Science Specialist ETH

The aim of food science is to ensure that the world's population is fed with safe, high-quality and healthy food. This is linked to the goal of sustainable utilisation of natural resources. Food engineers deal with the production, storage and distribution of food. This includes the areas of food process engineering (production and transformation, process optimisation) and quality management (food quality and its preservation during production, storage and transport). New products and processes are developed or existing ones improved. The area of nutrition and health deals with food and its influence on health. In the area of health, nutrition and
