Master Farmer HFP

Master farmers manage agricultural businesses. With their training and experience, they are responsible for both technical issues and business management. They have business and economic expertise and know what the current market requires. They analyse the opportunities and risks of their business and plan its long-term development. Master farmers organise the production of high-quality agricultural products. They plan production as sustainably, ecologically, efficiently and in line with market requirements as possible. In addition to technical aspects such as correct animal husbandry, site conditions or cultivation methods, they also take business management factors into account: they collect and interpret the key figures of their farm and analyse them.
