Structural Integration Therapist

Health & Medicine

Structural integration therapists use their hands, ankles and elbows to massage deep into the connective tissue. In doing so, they loosen and move the joints. They make you aware of ingrained movement patterns and straighten the body through interactive movement training in order to prevent incorrect loading of joints and overloading of tissues. The aim is to relieve tension, alleviate back and neck pain and improve posture in the long term. Some professionals are known as Rolfers.
