Their customers include medical and economic specialists from the inpatient and outpatient sector, e.g. doctors, pharmacists or service purchasers. In discussions with customers, pharmaceutical specialists analyse the needs of their customers and respond to them. They inform healthcare professionals about the properties, effects, benefits and risks of medicines, taking into account aspects of patient rights as well as pharmaceutical economics and legal aspects.
