Machine Operator or Plant Operator (Food Industry)

Machine operators operate one or more machines connected in series in a production plant. They are responsible for assembling the raw materials according to exact recipes until the finished moulded or baked product or partial product is ready. During the production process, they constantly monitor weight and quality. Career changers from other food sectors are introduced to the specific skills required.
