Research Group Leader / Principal Investigator

As a research manager or principal investigator, you lead your own research team at a university, hospital or in industry. You define research questions, acquire third-party funding (SNSF, Horizon), publish and supervise doctoral students. Unlike a research assistant, you don't just work, you set the agenda - with responsibility for personnel, budget and publications and usually a completed doctorate or habilitation.
