Business Chemist

Business chemistry is the interface between chemistry and economics. Business chemists work at the interface between research, production, management and marketing; as research and development controllers in production, for example, they ensure the economically successful production and processing of chemical products, determine the potential for improving materials, evaluate the market opportunities of new products, deal with financial planning in the area of research and development or deal with the preparation and implementation of business decisions; in the areas of sales and marketing, they take on leading functions in project management, deal with production processes, prepare market analyses or develop new products.
