Livestock Dealer
Nature & EnvironmentLivestock traders buy and sell their own and other people's livestock, breeding stock and cattle for slaughter. Their main occupation is usually livestock farming or agriculture. They must have a livestock dealer's licence, the granting of which is regulated by the federal and cantonal veterinary authorities. They also have in-depth knowledge of animal husbandry, breeding, animal welfare and the prevention of animal diseases.
