Video Assist Operator

Video Assist Operators ensure that all film footage is recorded as video and that the necessary technology is installed and functional. They are always up to date with the latest technology, e.g. recording on laptops or creating internet streams etc. Video Assist is a system that allows the director, crew members such as script supervisors, advertising clients and agency members to view the film recording directly on a video monitor and to view and assess the film recording as a video after it has been made.
