Surveying Engineer

Surveying engineers capture and document properties, buildings, and terrain with high-precision instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners. They create plans for the land registry, provide surveying support for construction projects, and develop digital terrain models. In Switzerland, they are responsible for official surveying and the cadastral system.
