Traffic Instructor
Transport & LogisticsTraffic instructors mainly give traffic lessons in kindergartens and schools. They instruct children and young people as pedestrians, cyclists, in the proper use of inline skates, scooters, rollerblades, etc. and as future motor vehicle drivers. They plan and carry out road safety education and prevention campaigns, e.g. for young drivers. They also give specialised presentations at parents' evenings, vocational schools, senior citizens' events, etc. Depending on the definition of their tasks, they can also be involved in school route supervision, training pilot services, conducting instruction sessions for children following a road traffic offence, advising authorities and teachers and drawing up road safety plans.
