Transport Paramedic BP
Health & MedicineTransport paramedics are responsible for the transport of patients in a non-critical state of health in ambulance services. They manage, organise and plan patient transports. On arrival at the scene, paramedics immediately gain an overview of the situation. They assess the patient's state of health as well as the risks and dangers for everyone involved and the surrounding area. They communicate with those affected and third parties involved. They initiate organisational, operational and preclinical measures as quickly as possible. In emergency situations, they provide first aid until the arrival of the paramedics, the emergency doctor or other authorised specialists. In complex emergency operations, they generally take on assisting tasks.
