Terminologists research, check and define technical terms in one or more languages, prepare the terminology they have developed using computer-aided tools and ensure its dissemination. Their work is therefore an important prerequisite for the comprehensibility of documents. Terminology specialists work in companies in a wide range of industries, in international organisations, in administration or offer their services as freelancers.
