Technical sterilisation assistants are responsible for the cleaning, sterilisation and reprocessing of medical products in hospitals, medical practices, home care organisations and care homes. In hospitals, the workplace is usually in the central sterilisation department, where work is carried out according to strict internationally recognised quality standards, taking into account economic and ecological aspects.
