HF telecommunications technicians are specialists in the planning, realisation and maintenance of ICT systems. With their knowledge of information processing and transmission via various communication systems, they plan and network telephone and mobile phone systems, internet and intranet applications, multimedia, video conferencing and mobile computing systems. For example, they realise telephone calls via computer networks (VoIP). In addition to their specialised knowledge of networks, systems and devices, they also have business know-how.
