Taxi Driver

Taxi drivers drive passenger vehicles that are suitable for professional passenger transport (BPT) and are usually equipped with tachographs, taximeters for price determination and taxi lights. In addition to passenger transport, they also carry out courier and messenger services. The taxi operating licence is issued by the municipality in which the taxi is used. It authorises the public offering of taxi services at an official taxi rank or other stands. Passengers can also be transferred via cooperation with a corresponding service provider (taxi centre or pure app provider). The installations required for this are provided by the service provider for a fee. Passenger orders are displayed on a display screen.
