Heads of degree programmes have the main responsibility for a degree programme. They design the curriculum within the framework of the university's requirements and/or educational legislation, ensure that it is implemented and evaluated appropriately and develop it further on an ongoing basis. They employ and manage qualified teaching staff as well as academic, administrative and technical staff. They may also teach themselves and initiate, carry out and/or participate in research projects. They carry out the following activities:
