Lactation Consultant

Breastfeeding and lactation counsellors advise women during pregnancy and throughout the entire breastfeeding period on all issues relating to breastfeeding. They deal with the physiology of lactation as well as complications. They show possible solutions for breastfeeding sick or disabled babies. They work in hospitals, in private practice, in outpatient clinics or, on request, at the mother's home.
