End-of-Life Companion

End-of-life carers look after and accompany dying people on the last part of their journey through life in an institution (hospital, nursing home, hospice) or at home. They keep the dying person company, listen to them, talk to them and, if possible, accompany them on walks. In doing so, they deal with the subject of dying and death themselves.
