Tank safety specialists are experts in tank systems and water protection. They deal with the inspection, maintenance, repair, adaptation and installation of tank systems. They identify defects and rectify them or initiate appropriate measures. The tasks of tank safety specialists vary depending on the specialisation: in the tank inspection specialisation, the focus is on the inspection and assessment of tank systems, protective structures and catch basins. In order to be able to check the condition of a tank, it must first be emptied and the oil temporarily stored in the mobile tanks. The tank is also desludged and degassed, taking into account all precautionary measures and regulations relating to the environment and occupational safety.
