Social Counselor
Education & SocialSocial counsellors advise employees of companies and administrations on psychosocial difficulties in the professional, personal, family or financial area. They support and advise HR departments and line managers in the event of social problems with employees and carry out clarifications if necessary. If necessary, they work together with external counselling services or make referrals to specialised agencies. The term social counselling is also used for counselling services offered by health leagues (e.g. Cancer League, Blue Cross, Rheumatism League) and other NGOs (e.g. Caritas, HEKS, Pro Infirmis).
