Welding technology is regulated and standardised worldwide. Companies that manufacture welded constructions therefore employ welding specialists who, as proven experts, ensure that the work is carried out flawlessly and complies with national and international standards. Welding specialists plan the work to be carried out, taking into account both manufacturing and economic aspects. Based on technical drawings and order specifications, they check feasibility and help select the materials to be used. They determine the appropriate ­welding processes. In addition to processes such as arc or gas welding of steels, they are also familiar with special processes and processes for welding aluminium.
