Sacristan (Roman Catholic Church)

Sacristans fulfil all tasks associated with the maintenance and care of the church building and any ancillary rooms. They are responsible for the maintenance and care of liturgical vestments and equipment, organise the church decorations, decorate the church rooms, prepare church services and accompany the priest during the services. A positive attitude towards the Roman Catholic faith is required.
