Equine Educator
Education & SocialRiding instructors carry out remedial lessons with horses in private stables and sometimes in homes, special schools and clinics. They support children, young people and adults with behavioural problems, emotional blockages, communication and relationship problems, addictive behaviour, psychological and psychosomatic illnesses, physical and mental impairments as well as movement and perception disorders. In equine-assisted therapy, the focus is not on equestrian training but on individual support. The clients are addressed holistically through riding and handling the horse, their self-confidence is strengthened and they are supported in their physical, emotional, mental and social development.
