Promoter / Taster in Retail
Sales & PurchasingPromoters or tasters present and sell products at a sales stand and have a representative function. They advise customers and familiarise them with certain products (e.g. food) or introduce new ones. They are brand and product ambassadors for a retail chain, wholesaler, shop, etc. They can be found in shopping centres, retail outlets or at trade fairs and "promote" or advertise certain products, distribute brochures, advise customers and let them test the goods or - in the case of food - taste them. Promoters are responsible for maintaining the sales stand and presenting products in an appealing way. They record customer feedback and pass it on internally.
