Police Psychologist

The focus of their work varies depending on the police corps: police psychologists are involved in the selection of police candidates, provide psychological training for police officers (e.g. in the area of communication, dealing with stressful situations), support police officers after a stressful deployment, conduct negotiations in hostage situations or advise members of the police corps on personal problems.
