Police officers are responsible for police duties in their own department (traffic, criminal offences, etc.) and are responsible for operational planning as well as personnel, material and organisational matters. They maintain the necessary contacts with authorities, offices and organisations - at national, cantonal, regional and municipal level (depending on the task and organisation of the corps).
