Scientific Laboratory Technician HFP

Scientific laboratory technicians organise work and processes in a laboratory or industrial company according to technical, ecological and economic criteria. They have advanced knowledge of maths, biology, general and organic chemistry as well as biological and chemical analysis. Depending on their field of work, they deal with state-of-the-art working techniques and the latest technologies in analytics, microbiology, cell culture technology, synthesis and formulation. Scientific laboratory technicians process and manage challenging chemical or biological tasks in private or industrial laboratories. They are responsible for the production or quality control of medicines, paints, varnishes, textiles, construction chemicals, pesticides and other chemicals.
