Head of Childcare Center

Education & Social

As managers of private and public daycare centres for pre-school children, they are responsible for the smooth running of the centre. They deal with personnel, administrative, economic and pedagogical tasks. In larger daycare centres with several groups of children, the focus is often on operational management, while in smaller establishments they also take on childcare tasks. A central function of daycare centre managers is pedagogical leadership. Together with the management, they develop and realise the educational concept and the mission statement, which serve as the basis for the staff's professional work with the children. They support the carers in the implementation of early childhood education, care and upbringing and ensure that the children's needs are met.
