Agricultural Operations Assistant

Farm assistants work on various farms, usually standing in for the farm manager when they are absent due to holidays, accidents or illness. Young farmers often take on the role of farm helpers in order to test their knowledge and skills on various farms. They are familiar with plant cultivation and handling livestock. The professionals must be well qualified and should be able to familiarise themselves with the specific requirements of the farm in the shortest possible time. The placements can last from one week to one year.
