Explosive ordnance disposal specialists (KAMIBES Spez), the specialists of the KAMIR command, operate the national unexploded ordnance reporting centre (BMZ) in Switzerland, receiving reports from all over Switzerland and arranging for the rapid and professional removal of munitions. They are on standby for military explosive ordnance disposal missions at home and abroad and are deployed in key positions in humanitarian demining and peacebuilding operations worldwide.
