Hippotherapists use the rhythmic movements of the horse's back as a therapeutic tool, whereby the patient sits loosely on the horse without any active influence. They support and control the sitting position and also use suitable aids for this purpose. The aim is to loosen tense muscles, promote coordination and balance and strengthen the core muscles.
