Caretakers make an important contribution to maintaining the value of properties. In large properties such as shopping centres, hospitals, schools and sports facilities, they ensure trouble-free and safe operation. They manage and coordinate the cleaning service, delegate maintenance work, manage the key inventory and take care of purchasing and the professional handling of machines, furniture and consumables. They are responsible for the responsible handling of chemicals and cleaning products. Caretakers regularly monitor heating, hot water, ventilation, air conditioning and water treatment systems as well as electrical and sanitary components. They operate the control and regulation technology. The care and maintenance of the building's technical systems is their responsibility.
