Specialist Store Manager

Specialist store managers run a specialist store (e.g. DIY, furniture), which is usually affiliated to a wholesaler. They manage the staff and are responsible for scheduling, sales promotion, product presentation and merchandise planning. As industry experts, specialist store managers have a major influence on the product line and are responsible for ordering and checking incoming goods. They also manage the inventory and warehouse and have other administrative tasks. Their area of responsibility also includes providing expert advice to customers.
