Epithetists use a wide range of materials to produce replicas of body parts that are missing due to congenital malformations, the consequences of accidents, burns or tumours. They reproduce replacements true to nature and adapt them in shape and colour so that they are indistinguishable from the surrounding skin area. They advise doctors and dentists on the planning of replicas.
