Calibration Officer HFP

Weights and measures inspect measuring equipment and check whether it complies with legal requirements. These devices include, for example, scales, weights and exhaust gas measuring devices for combustion engines. They also check flow meters, for example on petrol pumps, as well as containers, jars, barrels, scales, tape measures and calibration blocks. Weights and measures inspectors check whether the declared quantities in prepackages are adhered to. They ensure that companies that manufacture their products themselves or import them from third countries only place correctly filled packs on the market.
