Playwright

Playwrights write dramatic works on commission or on their own initiative as the basis for theatre productions. They work alone or in collaboration with dramaturges, directors or theatre ensembles. They can approach an artistic director/dramaturge directly with their stage work or offer the manuscript to a theatre publisher.
