Disaster Nurse

Disaster nurses are deployed in the event of incidents with a large number of casualties at home and abroad. They can carry out the initial assessment and assess the need for nursing and therapeutic measures. They care for the victims independently, under medical delegation or in interdisciplinary co-operation. They are familiar with the complex organisation in crisis situations and have intercultural skills.
