Chemical and pharmaceutical production managers lead teams in chemical, biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies that develop and manufacture medicines, pesticides, dyes, plastics or cosmetics. As the link between the chemists and production, the professionals are responsible for the efficient, safe, environmentally friendly and cost-conscious realisation of orders. They are also responsible for the continuous development and quality assurance of their company. They adapt the existing methods and instruments to the changing requirements and keep up to date with developments and innovations in the industry.
