Image Editor

Picture editors procure photographic or illustration material for print media, the Internet, TV and film (via photographers/photo agencies). They liaise closely with the image archive of a medium, if one exists, and select or pre-select the images to be published. Depending on the size and organisation of the company, they are significantly involved in the archive organisation or even responsible for its operation.
